Working in the Borderlands
Two senior psychoanalytic psychotherapists from Severnside will each present a paper
describing work which presented unusual challenges.
Participants will be invited to share their responses to hearing the papers, in two small
groups. We may reflect on the qualities that are needed to continue working psychoanalytically when there is a great pressure to do something rather than continuing to feel, and to think, and to try to understand. We may also want to think about who we feel able or not able to work with and why that is.
